Nothing to say

Nothing to say from the land of Guinness. Nothing to say, especially if you have nothing to say. The life goes by, quite, as the clouds up to Dublin. Nothing to say during these days, nothing special to say unfortunately.

Time goes by, so slowly, in a bored month, up here. Could I enjoy myself coding as a nerd, just coding as a nerd? I don't think so and my mind thinks quickly to fix this problem. Actually there's nothing to say until something better will happen. Something is missing, don't know what, but it is missing. Nothing to say when you are pushing black buttons, with a window opened, dark outside, pretty blur inside, with a couple of chocolate biscuits on the table, the small one when we cannot eat in more then 4. Looking forward to something to say.

It's a mess

My mother has gone :-( No more proper pasta.
Gianguido is going back to Italy. :( no more beer :-)
Giogio is going back to Italy for a couple of days :( no more pasta and gorgonzola.
A couple is coming.
Another polish girl is coming :-)
Another Masnaghese is coming.

Mother do you think it is a mess?
Don't mind, I could fix it!
I like the mess!

Dublin Zoo

When Dublin Zoo first opened in 1830, the animals, which were supplied by London Zoo, were considered exhibits. People rushed to catch a glimpse of wild and wonderful creatures they had only heard about but never seen.

Dublin Zoo is an active participant in a highly successful breeding programme with 200 other European Zoos: the conservation of species under threat. These days the role of the Zoo is very different. It's about building a sustainable future for wildlife as their natural habitats shrink, and, in some cases, disappear altogether. It's about engendering a sympathetic attitude towards animals and showing how they really live.

Pretty cool experience, if considering we are in the land of the Celtic. The weekend is going over and Sophie is waiting for me.

Notizia ufficiosa

Oggi mi e' arrivata una notizia ufficiosa, non ancora ufficiale. Aspettero' l'ufficialita' della cosa per festeggiare. Pochi aggiornamenti dal paese dei balocchi celtici. Auguri Dondi.

The lunatic is on the grass
The lunatic is on the grass
Remembering games and daisy chains and laughs
Got to keep the loonies on the path

The lunatic is in the hall
The lunatics are in my hall
The paper holds their folded faces to the floor
And every day the paper boy brings more

And if the dam breaks open many years too soon
And if there is no room upon the hill
And if your head explodes with dark forbodings too
Ill see you on the dark side of the moon

The lunatic is in my head
The lunatic is in my head
You raise the blade, you make the change
You re-arrange me till Im sane
You lock the door
And throw away the key
Theres someone in my head but its not me.

And if the cloud bursts, thunder in your ear
You shout and no one seems to hear
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
Ill see you on the dark side of the moon

Back to Dublin

Tornato a Dublin, fra pioggia, vento e verdi colline.

Back from Essap

Back Home (italian one), back from Essap (European Summer School on Agile Programming). A nice week spent at Villa Toeplitz with people coming from different countries. A nice week spent in understanding agile methodologies and extreme programming in an ideal environment where I've improved my skills thanks to a group of people which is the state of the art in this field as before.

New concepts in my mind, new interesting people, several different points of views worth to be shared in rhythm of pomodoris. Time is passed by this red things, among source codes, baloons, user stories, acceptance tests, test driven developments hanged over coaches using situational leadership concepts. Pretty cool if you think we all are software engineerings. Backing up using lego, building up nice colored structures in a team, sharing roastes to improve the quality, appreciating good ideas and motivating force people to increase the sense of aggregation and to feel better.

Think at yourself, answer your questions, start building up concepts, test what you are doing and refactor your mind: if you succeed importing these things to your work, to your team and to your life as well, I guess you will feel more relaxed, happy, energetic, full of power. Don't forget doing retrospective at the end of this process...standing-up, of course
