One of the best game in the last few years

Finally, I've got it. Finally, after few years of absence, i joined a new basketball team: the A-team of Trinity College Dublin. We lost yesterday night fighting toward the Rathmines Basketball team, one of the best team in the Irish League. Yesterday we play one of the Irish cup and it was very interesting.

Firstly, i joined a good team with a good coach who makes just simple things but in the proper, intensive way. The team mates are nice, hard worker, and all togheter we can obtain good results. The last game was one of the best game I could play in the last few years: intensitivy, dribbling, shouts, proper passes. That game allowed me to go back in my past, in my experience, figuring out how beautiful is this sport and how a real player can feel happy playing simple but good baskeball.

Paris -> La Ville Lumiere

Paris is always Paris: one of the best city over Europe. That's truth. How can a person came back home, wherever he/she lives, without saying: Paris is amazing, I want to came back. It's impossible i think. Trips are always trips, but if you can find good trip-mates, the trip became a real funny holiday.

Louvre, no comment to say how nice it is. La Tour Eiffel, something really impressive. Eurodisneyland is worthy to see once. La Defense, the Paris' World Trade Center where the economy goes by... Walk up the road, from the Mouling Rouge to Sacre Coeur where the landscape is nail-biting. Notre-Dame, the champ elysees, quartier latin and Jardin de Luxembourg plenty of snow. Sometimes you can go down, towards the subway, without caring about the controllers: escape, overtake the barrier, without authenticate the ticket...it's so funny.

It doesn't matter if you don't feel your legs because of the wheather... you have to walk, have a look around, without turning back, always straight on... It is really worthy to...

Tour Eiffel, La defense

If you go to Paris, how can you miss the famous Tour Eiffel? The tower has become a global icon of France and is one of the most recognizable structures in the world. 325 meter of beauty: you can see from the bottom to the top. You can see from the top to the bottom as well...a different point of view...

A different point of view if you go toward la Defense: the business area in Paris. Sao Paolo Gaby said: skyscrapers everywhere, big shopping center and of course a Mc Donald where we drunk a nice strawberry milkshake.

We are tired, but we walk up the escalator to see the panorama and again down. La Defense, with his 'Grande Arche' represents the new side of La ville Lumiere. It is worthy to see, from a different perspective. We are hungry and we think it's better to go back home, oops, hostel, and have a proper france baguette... is my bottle of cold tea still outside the window?

Eurodisneyland

No way: if you go to Paris you must go to Eurodisneyland. So funny, above all if you consider that outside there are -2 degrees. Fortunately the majority of the attractions are inside, but you need to be in a queue for at least 30 minutes for each of them.

The 3D Cinema is so funny. At the end real water has been splashed on our faces: it was a dog's sneeze. So funny with the 3D glasses: we seemed to be extraterrestrials. Planet pizza was our favourite break, compulsory every 3 hours outside. Everything is ok up here....

The Louvre - Paris

The Louvre Museum is the world's most visited art museum of France. Nearly 35,000 objects from the 6th millennium BC to the 19th century AD are exhibited over an area of 60.600 square metres. It means, by considering 30 seconds per object, you need around 12 days to visit everything, without sleeping, of course :-)

Sometime you need a rest, but it's so cool watching all the paints, from la Gioconda, to Picasso, all the sculptures, Napoleone's poor 'flat'. Sometime you need to sit somewhere, concentrate on something else, before visiting the exciting egyptian area. The Louvre is worthy to see.

Paris - Pigalle - Moulin Rouge - Sacre Coeur

Breakfast at Pigalle District, looking at Moulin Rouge, the famous Moulin Rouge, cabaret built in 1889 by Josep Oller close to Montmartre in the Paris red-light district of Pigalle. The Moulin Rouge is best known as the spiritual birthplace of the modern form of the can-can dance.

Walking up to the amazing Sacre Coeur, the highest point in the city. You can see the whole city but it's better if you turn back the mind, the head, and admire this beautiful Roman Catholic basilica.

Back down again towards Pigalle but this time, after having a Chinese dinner, we stop in the Sexodrome of the red-light district....it was funny...
